2009 COUSINADE

 

The next cousinade date is now set on

 

May 31, 2009 – Whit Sunday

The meeting will take place at the « Salle Municipale (meeting room) in GOXWILLER (Bas Rhin) » that is already reserved for this event.

 

The birth place of the Krucker and Grucker families being this village, it was normal for us that the meeting be held there.

 

Though we have worked hard on the Haute Alsace branch, we already studied the other branches, in particular the one coming from Sundgau ; this latter one is now coming to its end  and we are now working on the Palatinat branch.

 

On the other hand we have also many small branches, such as the Lyon one and we are trying to link them to the other ones.

 

Our backgrounds come from Swiss and Palatinat (a German area) and thus we would be glad that our Swiss and German « cousins » join us and bring the result of their research work or just some information.

We don’t forget our USA ‘’cousins’’ who are of course welcome to this meeting.

 

If your name is Krucker or Grucker, if you are of these lines of descent or if you have any relationship with our families, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can present the most possible works during that day.

 

The programme of that day is currently being prepared and will be set in March 2009.

We will have meal together at noon and the reservations will start in February and March.

 

We kindly ask you to confirm your attendance to that day (which we expect to be successful) so that we can study the cost with the different suppliers.
